Our client is an exciting and innovative women’s fashion wholesaler and retailer. We are looking for an organised and efficient Production Coordinator to join the successful Production team.  This is an administrative role, and does not require any technical skills.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will possess the ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and confidently. The key aspects of this role are to assist in the coordination of all aspects of production from development through to the timely delivery of finished goods ready for dispatch.  To be successful in this role, you must enjoy working to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment and have a passion for detail and accuracy.

Other responsibilities of the role are:

• Assist the Production Manager in the ordering of the appropriate quantity of all fabrics and trims for each range
• To meet all time lines in regards to production and delivery into the warehouse of all garments
• Liaise closely with makers to achieve high quality manufacturing
• Following up fabric and trim deliveries to ensure on time delivery
• Reconciling discrepancies in fabric and trim issues to makers
• Stock take and stock management of raw materials
• Quality checks on finished goods for colour, dye uptake and fabric deterioration
• Raising style codes, orders, delivery schedules and any other data requirements in AP21

The successful candidate must possess the following:

• Excellent administration and problem solving skills
• CMT experience and experience with reconciling fabrics
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring brand standards are consistently met
• Ability to manage challenging workloads and deadlines
• Motivated, enthusiastic and positive attitude
• High level proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with Apparel21 or similar highly advantageous
